Abstract:
The detection of gravitational waves from pairs of black holes has opened up the possibility to observe the Universe not possible before. I will discuss several exciting opportunities for gravitational-wave astronomy, including the merger of compact stars, gravitational lensing of gravitational waves, and the stochastic background from primordial black holes.
